Hello everyone, I am excited to go through this class with you all. I finished my undergraduate degree at John Carroll University and double majored in Business Management and Human Resources. I also played football while attending John Carroll.
Today's Reflection on Class
The first day of class was an interesting one. We covered what topics and objectives will be covered this semester and the new technology we will be exposed to sounds interesting. Here's what we did in class today:
1. Introductions - we introduced ourselves in a new way by circling up and using an adjective with our name to describe ourselves. Mine was Joyful Joe.
2. Reviewed the class syllabus and schedule.
3. Watched videos on setting up a blog and a twitter account which will be some of the social media we use throughout the class to build a professional learning network. Here's a link to the videos if you'd like to see how to do it too!
4. After watching the videos, I created my blog. This was a little challenging for me as I have never used a blog before. It took me a while to get things set up, but as you can see I was able to successfully build my first blog. 😊
5. Next, I created my twitter account. I have used twitter before so this step was much easier than setting up the blog. You can follow me on twitter @JoeCallihan1
Tune in next week for more updates!
Pretty straight forward here. I think I need to put information like this on my blog also.
