Week 3 : Cool Tool - Comic Master

Review of Comic Master

My choice for Cool Tool #2 was Comic Master. Comic Master allows for the creation and illustration of custom comic strips. The comics are made to order and are reasonably priced for publishing. The comics can be used as gifts for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries.

This tool could be used a few different ways in a classroom. It would be a fun way to try and connect with students in the classroom. This tool could be useful for an Intervention Specialist to interact with students who have behavioral problems but might enjoy putting together their own comics. Younger students may also relate well to superheros that could be incorporated into lessons.

Students could use this tool on their own. The site seems to lag a bit when putting in the pictures. There is also seems to be an issue with proper sizing of the components for the comic strip. Students would need to be aware of these issues to temper their expectations of using the tool.
