Week 5: Cool Tool - Book Creator

Introduction to the Tool

My cool Tool this week is Book Creator. Book Creator is an open tool that can be used across curriculum. It allows you as a teacher to create your own resources for your classroom, and share them with students. After many years of teaching you could potentially eliminate the need for a text book after you recycle, revise and reuse old material that you have created. You can do many things with Book Creator such as creating Interactive Stories, Digital portfolios, Research Journals, Poetry Books, Science Reports, Instruction Manuals, ‘About Me’ Books, Comic Adventures.

Students could easily use this took to create their own portfolios for notes, Science Reports or Poetry Books. This took Seems very friendly for different curriculum and content areas. The site provides an instructional video on how to use. .

The only potential issue could be is access to a computer or having internet access.
