My Reflection:
My review of the content and the class this week may be a little bias since Art and myself presented the Copyright material. I thought we did a nice job of keeping the class engaged through adding hummer and asking the class several questions and getting their thoughts and insights on the topic.
I learned quite a bit when researching this material about copyrighting and everything it covers. I knew prior to this Module that Copyrighting covered written work, however I didn’t now it covered pictures, videos, and choreographed dances moves you my find on Google. I also had no idea to the extent of how much you could get in trouble for this infringing upon copyright law such as up to a $100,000 fine.
The activity we did hopefully allowed to students to recall the presented material and determine if the situation was infringing upon copyright law. By reflecting in groups this allowed group members to share their own thoughts and work through a copyright problem and explain why they thought it was copyrighting or not.
I would like to congratulate Brady on winning the Kahoot quiz. However after reflecting on the quiz and getting feedback from other students, I could have done a better job making a few of the questions clearer. On the other hand I think the Kahoot was a nice change of pace from the lecture setting and a nice way to wrap up the Module.
After Art and my presentation Ty and Evan started the first of three lessons on who to make videos for our final project. It was really interest to learn how to focus a video on your iPhone. I look forward to getting additional information on video making from Ty and Evan, they both seem like they have a wealth of knowledge on video making.
