Week 9: Cool Tool 8 - ABC YA

My cool tool this week is ABC Ya is the leader of educational games for kids! It is a graphic representation of word cloud to show frequency of words. This site also allows for teachers to create their own games and content area for students to practice. ABC YA also provides other games for students to practice different content areas ranging anywhere from Pre K to 5th grade.

The different games for different content areas for kids to work on improve their skills learned in class after a lesson is over is a great way for them to have fun whale learning. It would also be a great way for student s to stay active and involved with the lesson even once the lesson and their work has been completed. This would be a great tool for teachers to use and a fun activity for kids.

The one downside to this tool is that it only goes up to a 5th grade level. Students after 5th grade would still want to play games on after a lesson is complete. I think it would be beneficial for this website to expand into other grade levels.

This site is easy to use both for students and teachers. Younger students would have a easy time navigating through the sight and playing different games. I would use this tool in my classroom if I was teaching students in Pre-K to 5th grade. I would not however use this tool if I taught higher than 5th grade.
